Zigana Pass & Limonlu Highland Black Sea Pleasure

Welcome to our culture and nature tour starting at Zigana Pass, located on the historic Silk Road. This historic pass at 2032 meters altitude has been an important trade route between the Black Sea and Central Anatolia for centuries. Stopping at the summit of the pass, we watch the green valleys of the Black Sea on one side and the mountainous landscape of Gumushane on the other. Touring the historic caravanserai ruins, we learn about the region's trade history.

With our transition to Limonlu Highland, we experience the peaceful atmosphere of the Black Sea. This highland at 1600 meters altitude is famous for its lush green meadows and traditional wooden houses. Walking in the highland center, we discover the local lifestyle. We taste local delicacies like fresh dairy products, organic honey, and corn bread. While learning about the region's endemic vegetation and bird species, you capture ideal frames for nature photography. Taking a picnic break in highland meadows, you breathe in the Black Sea's fresh air.
